Less than 45 minutes from Santiago de Compostela, we find one of the most fabulous and spectacular beaches in Galicia, a symbol of naturism where “nudists” and “textile” visitors, young and not so young, coexist… and home to one of the most famous and impressive Castros in Europe.

If, while in Santiago de Compostela, you want to visit one of the best beaches you will ever see, this is a safe choice. A long stretch of sand that allows for privacy, and the chance to explore a rock settlement that was occupied between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD, with defensive walls and around 20 houses whose walls are still preserved.

It is a nudist beach, where a long-lasting tan is guaranteed. There is a café-restaurant, and although you have to walk a short distance through cultivated fields to reach it, this minor effort may be what keeps the beach relatively uncrowded.
